Miyu Okamoto (岡本 未夕 Okamoto Miyu?) is one of the main characters in Wake Up, Girls! anime series. She is a member of an idol group, Wake Up, Girls! where she joined after going through the audition in late 2013. Her image color is orange and her image animal is eagle.
Appearance[]
Miyu is usually seen with twin ponytails on both sides of her head, which is tied with two identical blue hair ties. She has blue-green eyes.
Personality[]
Miyu is always happy, cheerful, supportive and bubbly but somewhat indecisive and prone to crying. She has a job at a maid cafe in Sendai and is self described as "twin-tailed and incompetent". She is willing to participate in almost anything and enjoys being the center of attention whilst respecting others in the group. Miyu is the first person to be successfully recruited by Kouhei as a member of the Wake Up Girls. She and Minami are often the mood makers of the group.

- The name Miyu means "early evening" (未夕).
